Born from the innovative ideas that spread in the late sixties, the fashion of the seventies took the form of a real movement. From the birth of the hippie generation with their look from the bright colors and shirts wide and long, to the feminist movement that identified instead with long skirts and clothes bought with little money. To the fashion of that period were often connected also the different political ideas of the moento: for example in Italy the leather jacket, the glasses Ray Ban and the polo Lacoste were the prerogative of right-wing youth, while the young left preferred the green eskimo worn over jeans, boots similar to the "Clarks Desert Boots", sweaters of large size and shoulder bags in canvas or leather.
